Bio
Chob (b. 1982, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova) studied Painting at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca and Costume Design at the National University of Arts in Bucharest. Since 2004, she has worked across diverse creative fields – book illustration, film (Perfume: The Story of a Murderer), the gaming industry (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Unbound: Worlds Apart) – before dedicating herself fully to traditional art in 2023.
Her current practice explores memory, identity, and resilience through oil painting, watercolor, mixed media, and sculpture. Starting in 2025, she has been participating in exhibitions and art fairs both in Romania and internationally.
