Tête-à-Tête: Young Artists and Poets Unite in Cluj-Napoca for ‘Shouted Secrets of a Dream’ Exhibition

From May 23rd to 25th, 2025, the vibrant city of Cluj-Napoca hosted the tête-à-tête art and poetry event, gathering a community of young visual artists and poets for a heartfelt charity exhibition titled “Shouted Secrets of a Dream.”

This three-day cultural event brought together fresh voices from Romania’s creative scene, celebrating vulnerability, identity, and emotional storytelling through art and spoken word. The exhibition featured works that delved into deeply personal and often hidden emotional landscapes.

I was proud to be part of this moving experience with my painting “Lost Why”, an oil on canvas that explores silent introspection and the universal feeling of being unanchored. Surrounded by poetry readings and other visual narratives, my work stood alongside a collective expression of youth, dreams, and questions left unspoken.

Importantly, all donations raised during the event were directed to Plus Perspective NGO, an organization dedicated to improving local communities through educational programs and creative events. Supporting this cause through art added meaning and purpose to every interaction during the exhibition.

Tête-à-tête wasn’t just an event—it was a powerful reminder of how art can connect us and make tangible changes in the world around us. I’m incredibly grateful to have contributed to this inspiring initiative.
